2023 Edgar Awards Winners

Locus Magazine, Science Fiction FantasyThe 77th Annual Edgar Awards were presented April 27, 2023, at the New York Marriott
Marquis Times Square. The Awards are given by the Mystery Writers of America (MWA), “honoring the best in mystery fiction, non-fiction and television.” Winners of genre interest follow.

Or Else by Joe Hart (Thomas & Mercer) won in the Best Paperback Original category, Aggie Morton Mystery Queen: The Seaside Corpse by Martha Jocelyn (Tundra) won for Best Juvenile, and Buried in a Good Book by Tamara Berry (Poisoned Pen) won the the Lilian Jackson Braun Memorial Award.

As previously announced, Michael Connelly and Joanne Fluke were named MWA Grand Masters.
