World Science Fiction Studies

  • WINNER: “From Wilderness to Anthropocene: The Frontier in African Speculative Fiction”, Michelle Clarke

Utopian Studies

  • WINNER: “Zone Theory: SF and Utopia in the Space of Possible Worlds”, Alexander Popov
  • Runner-up: “The Rebirth of Utopia in 21st-Century Cinema: Cosmopolitan Hopes in the Films of Globalization”, Mónica Martín
