2017 Nommo Awards Winners

Locus Magazine, Science Fiction FantasyThe African Speculative Fiction Society (ASFS) has announced the winners for the 2017 Nommo Awards. All titles “are speculative fiction, were published in calendar years 2015 or 2016, and are thought to be by Africans as defined by the ASFS and Nommo Awards Guidelines.”

Winners were honored at the Aké Festival November 14-18, 2017 in Nigeria. A prize of $3,000 will be shared among the winners of four categories: best novel ($1,000), best novella ($500), best short story ($500), and best graphic novel ($1,000).
