2023 Writing NSW Diverse Writers Mentorship Recipients

Writing NSW has announced the recipients of its 2023 Diverse Writers Mentorship. Writers in the the program have the opportunity to work on a short story under the mentorship of writer Eugen Bacon and with the support of Writing NSW, with the eventual goal of publication. The nine selected writers are Celine Eigner, Tamara Haque, Michelle Huynh, Andrew John, Teneale Lavender, Hiromi Matsuoka, Annie McCann, Guan Un, and Cherry Zheng.

The program is open to “emerging writers from Indigenous or culturally diverse backgrounds who have some record of publication but have not yet published a book-length work” and who are residents of New South Wales, Australia.
