Analog/Asimov's Party

A party hosted by Analog and Asimov's publisher Dell Magazines, at Torcon 3, the 61st World Science Fiction Convention, included a celebration of Stanley Schmidt's 25th anniversary as editor of Analog.

As is traditional, a cake was served depicting cover images from the latest issues of both magazines:

In a surprise to Schmidt, an extra cake was presented depicting the first Analog cover to illustrate one of his stories -- "The Sins of the Fathers", a serial beginning in the November 1973 issue.
