RSL Ondaatje Prize 2022 Shortlist

The Island of Missing Trees by Elif Shafak (Bloomsbury) is on the shortlist for the £10,000 Royal Society of Literature (RSL) Ondaatje Prize

The award is given “to an outstanding work of fiction, non-fiction or poetry that best evokes the spirit of a place.” The judges for 2022 are Patrice Lawrence, Sandeep Parmar (Chair), and Philippe Sands.
