Beams Wins Bard Fiction Prize

Debut collection We Show What We Have Learned by Clare Beams (Lookout) won the Bard Fiction Prize. The $30,000 annual prize is awarded by Bard College “to a promising emerging writer who is an American citizen aged 39 years or younger at the time of application.” Beams also receives a one-semester residency at the college.
