Wind and Truth, Brandon Sanderson’s latest entry in his Stormlight Archive series, jumped to the top of the hardcover list, pushing last month’s winner, Susanna Clarke’s The Wood at Midwinter, into second place. There were no new runners-up. We had 54 titles nominated this month, down from 62 last month.
In addition to taking the top spot in hardcovers, Brandon Sanderson continued his domination of the paperback list, with The Way of Kings and Mistborn taking the first and second spots. There were no new runners-up. Forty-eight titles were nominated this month, down from last month’s 57 titles.
On the trade paperback list, A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas held onto first place, while Robert Jackson Bennett’s The Tainted Cup moved into second. There were no new runners-up. There were 65 nominated titles, down from 73 last month.
On the media and gaming-related book list, Alex Hirsch’s The Book of Bill, remained at the top for another month, followed by Dan Abnett’s Warhammer 40,000: The Horus Heresy: Horus Rising. There were no new runners-up. We had 19 nominated titles, one up from last month’s 18.
