Phantasia Press Relaunch

Publisher Alex Berman has announced the relaunch of Phantasia Press, returning more than 30 years after their last publication. They are “once again offering high quality hardcover science fiction and fantasy editions” produced using archival-quality materials. Their first new release is a limited edition of Mickey 7 by Edward Ashton.

The press was originally founded by Berman and the late Sidney Altus “with the idea of publishing high quality, limited edition hard-cover science fiction and fantasy books” made from the best materials.

From 1978 to 1989 Phantasia Press published 49 books, including both first editions and hardcover editions of previously published works, with titles by authors including David Brin, C.J. Cherryh, Stephen King, Larry Niven, Spider Robinson, Robert Silverberg, Jack Williamson, and others.
