2023 Analog Award for Emerging Black Voices
Analog has announced the Analog Award for Emerging Black Voices, open to “any writer over 18 years of age who customarily identifies as Black, has not published nor is under contract for a book, and has three or less paid fiction publications.”
Submissions will be read blind. Please remove all identifying information from the document before sending it. The file name should be the title of the story. Submissions should be .doc files and follow standard manuscript format. In the body of your email, please include a short cover letter with your contact information, address, the name of your entry, and a statement of interest describing eligibility. Stories can be submitted here: AnalogAward@gmail.com.
Submissions of stories between 1,000-5,000 words are open from March 1 – May 31, 2023. Finalists receive a mentorship session with Analog editors, and the winner receives publication in Analog with one year of monthly mentorship sessions.
