2022 Women’s Prize Winner

The The Book of Form & Emptiness by Ruth Ozeki (Viking) has won the 2022 Women’s Prize for Fiction. The prize celebrates “excellence, originality and accessibility in writing by women throughout the world.”

The winner receives £30,000 and a bronze “Bessie” trophy. The 2022 judges were Lorraine Candy, Dorothy Koomson, Anita Sethi, Mary Ann Sieghart (chair), and Pandora Sykes.
