Winners of the 2021 Goodreads Choice Awards for the “best books of 2021,” as chosen by users of the site, have been announced. There are several winners of genre interest.
Best Fantasy

Best Science Fiction

Best Horror
- The Final Girl Support Group, Grady Hendrix (Berkley) 45,960 votes
Best Young Adult Fantasy and Science Fiction
- Rule of Wolves, Leigh Bardugo (Imprint) 48,212 votes
Best Middle Grade & Children’s
- Daughter of the Deep, Rick Riordan (Disney-Hyperion) 49,341 votes
