King News
Stephen King joined forces with Humble Bundle to raise money for the American Civil Liberties Union, offering a digital download of new King story ‘‘Red Screen’’ on a pay-what-you-want basis (with a $5 minimum) from September 10-16, 2021. One hundred percent of the proceeds went to the ACLU. The book was downloaded by 18,236 readers, and raised a total of $142,457.85. This is the first ‘‘Humble Exclusive,’’ a new program in which ‘‘Humble partners with innovative content creators to provide exclusive content to support charities.’’ For more, see their website.
