Wonderful! I was influenced by Resnick’s stories to become a writer, and a decade or so later I got to speak to him at a convention and thank him. Also, he encouraged a friend of mine who has been published (among other places) in “Galaxy’s Edge.” So I saw an example of his willingness to help other writers. I think this award is very appropriate!
