Mark Teppo announced that his publishing projects will no longer operate under the Resurrection House name, with his Firebird Creative projects now appearing under the Underland Press and Underland Arcana banners. Speaking of: Underland Press has launched a new quarterly publication, Underground Arcana, with work inspired by the Minor Arcana of the tarot, launching in Fall 2020. The press has published two anthologies inspired by the major arcana (XII and XVIII), and the new journal is the “next phase of the Underland Tarot project.” For more: <www.underlandarcana.com>.
Winged Hussar Publishing has made a deal with Anvil 8 Games to publish and distribute books based on the latter’s games Aetherium and Frontline – No Komrades, beginning in Spring 2021. Winged Hussar Publishing also made a deal to publish and distribute Jonathan Green’s ACE Gamebooks series via Simon & Schuster.
Midnight Sun by Stephenie Meyer (Little, Brown), a retelling the events of her bestselling debut Twilight from the vampire love interest’s point of view, reportedly sold over a million copies during its first week on sale following its August 4, 2020 publication.
