Broaddus Wins Indiana Authors Award
Pimp My Airship by Maurice Broaddus (Apex) is the winner of the 2020 Indiana Authors Award in the Genre category. Each winner receives $5,000, a trophy made of Indiana limestone, and the opportunity to give a $500 gift to an Indiana public library.
“The Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana Authors Awards celebrate the best books by Indiana authors written in eight different categories and published during the previous two years.” Nominations were made by the public. Winners and shortlisted authors were chosen by a panel of judges, including “former winners, writers, educators, scholars, local bookstore owners and librarians.”
