Polari Prize 2020 Shortlists

Things We Say in the Dark by Kirsty Logan (Harvill Secker) is on the shortlist for the 2020 Polari Prize, given to writers born or based in the UK and Ireland “for emerging and established LGBTQ+ literary talent.”

The shortlists were announced in an online ceremony July 31, 2020, with winners to be announced in October. The Polari Prize is sponsored by DHH Literary Agency, and the winner will receive a £2,000 check. Judges are Suzi Feay, Chris Gribble, V.G. Lee, and Andrew McMillan, with prize founder Paul Burston as chair.
