2019 Branford Boase Award Long List
The long list for the 2019 Branford Boase Award has been announced and includes several titles of genre interest:

- Pages & Co: Tilly and the Bookwanderers, Anna James (HarperCollins Children’s)
- The Mystery of the Colour Thief, Ewa Jozefkowicz (Zephyr)
- Outwalkers, Fiona Shaw (David Fickling)
“The Award is made annually to the most promising book for seven year-olds and upwards by a first time novelist.” The short list will be announced May 1, 2019. Winners will be announced July 3, 2019.
