Mike Allen and F. J. Bergman in Conversation: SF Poetry

Today we’re kicking off a series of blog posts that will focus on sf poetry. What does the sf in sf poetry stand for? That’s a matter of some debate, and it’s just a small part of what Mike and F. J. talk about in this podcast. Also mentioned are what they look for in sf poetry, how they got started writing and publishing it, and the numerous venues where you can find excellent examples being published today. Look for more on this topic in the coming weeks.

As an addendum, we talk a bit in the podcast about the tantalizing notion of a Pandora-style website, but for books and poetry. As it happens, there has been an attempt at doing something similar, the Book Genome project that has been running since 2003. Its associated Book Lamp site explicitly aims to connect people to books similar to those they have already enjoyed.
