Quercus to Launch Jo Fletcher Books Imprint

Jo Fletcher, associate publisher of Gollancz (and a major figure in British publishing), is leaving the company to join Quercus, where she will run her own SF/fantasy/horror imprint, Jo Fletcher Books.

Fletcher says, “I have had an amazing time at Gollancz, where I’ve spent 16 years building the best SF and Fantasy list in the country with some of the best writers in the world — and now I get to do it all over again.” She starts her new position in January 2011.
