Carnegie and Greenaway Short Lists
Finalists for the Carnegie Medal for best children’s book, and the Kate Greenaway Medal for best illustrations in a children’s book, have been announced, including several titles of SF/F interest.
Carnegie Medal

Greenaway Medal
- Dave McKean for Crazy Hair, Neil Gaiman (Bloomsbury)
- Chris Riddle for The Graveyard Book, Neil Gaiman (Bloomsbury)
This is the first time in the 30 year history of the awards that the same title –Gaiman’s The Graveyard Book – has appeared on both shortlists. The awards are presented by the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals, and winners will be announced at a ceremony June 24, 2010 in London.
