Philip Pullman's The Amber Spyglass, the Harry Potter books, and Anne Rice's Merrick continue to place prominently on general bestseller lists this week. On the paperback lists, Michael Crichton's Timeline debuts in first place on three lists, and places 4th on two others. New hardcover volumes in series by Philip Pullman and George R.R. Martin inspire sales of earlier volumes in paperback, at least from Amazon.
