Cardinal and Hennig Win Older Writers Grants

Ann Dávila Cardinal and J Tullos Hennig are the winners of the 2018 Older Writers Grant, given by the Speculative Literature Foundation (SLF).

The Speculative Literature Foundation’s $500 Older Writers Grant is awarded annually to a writer who is fifty years of age or older at the time of grant application, and is intended to assist such writers who are just starting to work at a professional level. The SLF are currently offering two $500 grants annually, to be used as each writer determines will best assist his or her work. The Older Writers Grant is awarded by a jury on the basis of merit. Applications for the Older Writers Grant are considered from January 1st to March 31st, annually.
