SFWA Career Mentorship Program Open to Applications for 2025
The Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers Association (SFWA) has opened applications their 2025 career mentoring program, seeking both mentors and mentees. The program “is an all-volunteer service provided free of charge… with the objective of providing community, sharing knowledge, and offering networking opportunities.” The program runs for three months.
Mentees are chosen via lottery and paired with mentors based on their responses to questions. “Mentorships are open to all SFWA members as well as to aspiring members. You do not need to be a member to participate as a mentor or a mentee.”
Applications are open until February 22, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time.
For more information, or to apply, see the announcement on the SFWA website.
While you are here, please take a moment to support Locus with a one-time or recurring donation. We rely on reader donations to keep the magazine and site going, and would like to keep the site paywall free, but WE NEED YOUR FINANCIAL SUPPORT to continue quality coverage of the science fiction and fantasy field.
