Evaristo Receives CILIP Fellowship

CILIP announced the two recipients for their 2022 Honorary Fellowships, including author Bernardine Evaristo. The honor is described as “the highest recognition that CILIP can offer as a professional body” and fellowships have been awarded since 1896. Evaristo was selected for her “outstanding contribution to literacy, reading and representation in literature”.

CILIP is the UK library and information association, “the only chartered body in the world dedicated to uniting, supporting and advocating for information professionals and librarians – the people who help the world make better decisions.” For more information, see the official announcement.
