45th Japan SF Grand Prize Winners

The Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of Japan (SFWJ) announced the results of the 45th Japan SF Grand Prize:

Three individuals were presented with posthumous Contribution Awards:

  • Haruya Sumiya
  • Kazuo Umezu
  • Hiroshi Yamamoto

The grand prize winner receives 1 million yen ($6,600), a certificate, and a trophy. The Special Award winner receives a certificate and a trophy. The awards will be presented at a ceremony at SF Carnival in Tokyo on April 26, and will be livestreamed as well.
