2025 International Booker Prize Longlist

The 13-title longlist for the 2025 International Booker Prize has been announced, with works and writers of genre interest including:

The International Booker Prize is given “every year for a single book that is translated into English and published in the UK or Ireland.” This year’s judges are Caleb Femi, Sana Goyal, Anton Hur, Beth Orton, and Max Porter.

The shortlist will be announced April 8, 2025. Shortlisted authors receive £5,000, or £2,500 each for writer and translator. The winner will be announced May 20, 2025; the winning work receives £50,000, or £25,000 each for writer and translator.
