Strange Horizons Launches Podcast Series
Strange Horizons has announced the launch of a year-long podcast series, SH@25, in celebration of their 25th anniversary.
SH@25 will feature “interviews with authors, artists, poets, and former staff of Strange Horizons, charting the magazine’s 25 year trajectory from being founded in September 2000 to winning a Hugo in August 2024, as well as looking ahead at its future.” The project will be led by podcast editor Kat Kourbeti and producer Michael Ireland. Episodes are available across many platforms, linked here.
The podcast was founded by Anaea Lay and Ciro Faienza in 2013, functioning as the audio arm of the fiction and poetry departments, and was handed over to Kat Kourbeti and Courtney Floyd in late 2020, before expanding in 2022 with the addition of Critical Friends, the SFF criticism show hosted by Dan Hartland and Aisha Subramanian from the Reviews team.
For more information, see the introductory episode for the series on the Strange Horizons site.

We rely on reader donations to keep the magazine and site going, and would like to keep the site paywall free, but WE NEED YOUR FINANCIAL SUPPORT to continue quality coverage of the science fiction and fantasy field.
