Author Sharon Green, 79, died February 17, 2022 in Old Bridge NJ.
Green’s first publications were the Jalav/Amazon Warrior series, starting with Crystals of Mida (1982) and continuing with An Oath to Mida (1983), Chosen of Mida (1984), The Will of the Gods (1985), and To Battle the Gods (1986). The Terrilian Sequence began with The Warrior Within (1982) and includes The Warrior Enchained (1983), The Warrior Rearmed (1984), The Warrior Challenged (1986), and The Warrior Victorious (1988). Her Diane Santee, Spaceways Agent series includes Mind Guest (1984), Gateway to Xanadu (1985), Tanderon (2006), Tristesse: Book 1 (2006), Tristesse: Book 2 (2006), Esmoni (2006), Xanthia (2006), Aysanne (2006), Tildor (2008), Restin (2008), Absar (2008), Gralling (2011), and Durell (2011). Other series include Far Side of Forever; Hidden Realms; Lady Blade, Lord Fighter; Silver Princess, Golden Knight; and Taz Bell. She also wrote standalone SF and fantasy novels.
Green was born July 6, 1942 in Brooklyn NY. She attended New York University, graduating in 1963. Green worked in various jobs, including as a sales manager, before becoming a full-time writer in 1984. She lived in Tennessee and Florida before settling in Old Bridge in 2020.
