2024 Women’s Prize Longlist

The 16-title longlist has been announced for the 2024 Women’s Prize for Fiction. Nominees of genre interest include And Then She Fell by Alicia Elliott (Allen & Unwin) and The Blue, Beautiful World by Karen Lord (Gollancz).

The prize celebrates “the power of individuality with each one showcasing a unique writing style, subject and theme.”

The shortlist will be announced in April, and the winner on June 13, 2024. The winner will receive £30,000 and a bronze “Bessie” trophy. The 2024 judges are Monica Ali, Ayọb̀ ámi Adébáyọ, Laura Dockrill, Indira Varma, and Anna Whitehouse.
