2023 Books Are My Bag Readers Awards

National Book Tokens have announced the winners of the 2023 Books Are My Bag Readers Awards. The awards aim to “reflect the truly diverse tastes of real booklovers and the bookshops they love to visit”. Winners of genre interest include:

Fiction

  • WINNER: Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow, Gabrielle Zevin (Knopf)
  • Yellowface, Rebecca F. Kuang (William Morrow)
  • Sea of Tranquility, Emily St. John Mandel (Knopf)

Children’s Fiction

  • WINNER: Impossible Creatures, Katherine Rundell (Bloomsbury)
  • The Skull, John Klassen (Candlewick)
  • Greenwild, Pari Thomson (Farrar, Straus and Giroux)
