Fishing Fortress Science Fiction Awards Winners
The winners of the inaugural Fishing Fortress Science Fiction Awards, honoring the best in Chinese SF writing, have been announced.
Sci-Fi Master Achievement
- Liu Cixin
Sci-Fi Promoter Achievement
- Dong Renwei
Sci-Fi Educator Achievement
- Wu Yan
Sci-Fi Publisher Achievement
- Yao Haijun
Sci-Fi Translator Achievement
- Ding Zicheng (AKA Ding Dingchong)
Sci-Fi Academy Award
- Han Song
Other winners of note include Nozomi Omori, Gu Shi, Bao Shu, Tianrui Shuofu, Yan Xi, Science Fiction World, and Eight Light Minutes Culture. The awards were presented at a gala in Hechuan, Chongqing on June 10, 2023. The winners split one million yuan in prize money. For more information, see the announcement by China.org.cn.
