2023 Guggenheim Fellows

Authors Lucy Corin, Jac Jemc, and Jacqueline Woodson are among the 2023 Guggenheim Fellows, announced by the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation. Fellowships were awarded to 171 recipients across 48 fields of study “on the basis of prior achievement and exceptional promise.”

The Foundation was started in 1925 and has awarded grants totaling nearly $400 million to over 18,000 people. Fellowships are through two annual competitions: one for citizens and permanent residents of the US and Canada, and one for citizens and permanent residents of Latin America and the Caribbean.

For more information, including a full list of fellows and competition rules, see the Guggenheim Foundation website.
