2022 Ray Bradbury Prize Finalists

Finalists for this year’s Ray Bradbury Prize for “Science Fiction, Fantasy & Speculative Fiction” were announced as part of the Los Angeles Times Book Prizes:

The prize is sponsored by the Ray Bradbury Literary Works and “honors and extends Bradbury’s literary legacy by celebrating and elevating the writers working in his field today.” This year’s jurors are Craig Laurance Gidney, Tim Pratt (chair), and Lucy A. Snyder.

Finalists of genre interest were also announced in other categories. Paradais by Fernanda Melchor, translated by Sophie Hughes (New Directions/Fitzcarraldo/) is a finalist in the Fiction category, The Cartographers by Peng Shepherd (Morrow) is a nominee in the Mystery/Thriller category, while All My Rage by Sabaa Tahir (Razorbill) and Hell Followed With Us by Andrew Joseph White (Peachtree Teen) are finalists in the Young Adult category.

Winners will be honored at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, in a ceremony to be held April 21, 2023 at USC in Los Angeles CA. For more, see the prize website.
