Uose Wins Morley Prize
Hanna Thomas Uose’S Who Wants to Live Forever is the winner of the 2022 Morley Prize for Unpublished Writers of Colour. Authors of shortlisted titles receive a certificate, an invitation to the prize launch, an advice session with an agent, “and the opportunity to exhibit an extract of their work online and as part of the Cardew Gallery exhibition.” The winner receives £500, an award certificate, a discount on a Morley College course, plus a manuscript review and one-hour meeting with an agent from Rachel Mills Literary agency, and an appearance on Pamela R. Haynes’s Island Girls podcast to discuss their work.
