Endeavour Award Revived

The Endeavour Award committee has announced the revival of their award, which was on hiatus due to the pandemic:

The Endeavour Award for science fiction or fantasy written by Pacific Northwest writers is back! The Endeavor was first awarded in 1999. In addition to recognition and a handsome physical award, the winner also receives a cash prize of $1,000. We are now open to
submissions for books published in 2021.

We are making a major change in the way you can submit candidates. We require a PDF version that can be shared with preliminary readers and judges. No physical copies will be accepted…

We regret that we could not present the Endeavor Awards in 2020 (for 2019) and 2021. The pandemic presented logistical problems that we could not overcome, preventing us from recognizing and honoring work published in 2019 and 2020.

We look forward to the renewed continuation of the Endeavour Award.

Entry forms can be found here, and the deadline for submissions is November 15, 2022. The award is given “for a distinguished science fiction or fantasy book written by a Pacific Northwest author or authors and published in the previous year” and comes with a $1,000 prize. The winner will be announced on April 8, 2023 at Norwescon in SeaTac WA.
