2022 BBC Young Writers’ Award Shortlist
The BBC Younger Writers’ Award, run with the University of Cambridge, has announced their 5-title shortlist. The award “challenges young people in the UK aged between 14-18 years to submit stories of up to 1,000 words”. Titles of genre interest include:
- “Bite”, Emily Betts
- “The Poltergeist”, Dora Fidler
The shortlist was announced live on BBC Radio 1, and the winner will be announced live on Radio 4 on October 4. See the full shortlist here.
