2022 Eagle-Con Awards
Four awards were announced at Eagle-Con 2022, held March 10-12, 2022 at Cal State L.A. in Los Angeles CA.
Dawn Brown won the Imaginator Award, given annually to “honor wondrous achievement in visual conceptualization.” John Jennings won the Octavia E. Butler Memorial Award, “given out in honor of Cal State LA alumna Octavia E. Butler to celebrate an author whose writing exemplifies the spirit of her work.”
The Lemonade Award, created by Nalo Hopkinson, aims to honor “acts of kindness by individuals that further science fiction community.” The Institutional award was given to The 501st Legion, and the Individual award to Jaymee Goh and K. Tempest Bradford.
