New Polari Prize
The Polari Prize has announced the new Children’s and YA Prize, “shining a spotlight on growing range of wonderful books for children and young adults with LGBTQ+ themes or representation.”
The award is sponsored by Little Box of Books, and the winner will receive £1,000. The judges are Liz Chapman, Zoey Dixon, Jodie Lancet-Grant, Lynsey Pollard, and Sam Sedgeman.
The Children’s and YA Prize, the Polari First Book Prize, and the Polari Prize are all open for submissions until May 2, 2022. Finalists will be announced later in the year.
