Several awards for services to SF fandom were presented during the Discon III opening ceremonies, held December 15, 2021 in Washington DC.

First Fandom Posthumous Hall of Fame Award

Sam Moskowitz Archive Award
- Kevin L. Cook
David A. Kyle Big Heart Award
- Linda Deneroff
Though William F. Nolan died in July 2021, he was notified of his award beforehand, and provided an acceptance speech read by John Pomeranz during the ceremony.
