2020 BAMB Readers Awards Shortlists
Shortlists for the 2020 Books Are My Bag (BAMB) Readers Awards have been announced, including titles and authors of genre interest in the following categories:
Fiction
- Kim Jiyoung, Born 1982, Cho Nam-joo (Scribner)
- The Devil and the Dark Water, Stuart Turton (Bloomsbury)
Poetry
- Sylvanian Family, Summer Young (Bad Betty)
Children’s Fiction
- Gargantis, Thomas Taylor (Walker)
Young Adult Fiction
- Children of Virtue and Vengeance, Tomi Adeyemi (Macmillan)
- Cinderella is Dead, Kalynn Bayron (Bloomsbury)
Breakthrough Author
- Greek Myths, Jean Menzies, illustrated by Katie Ponder (DK)
There are also finalists in the Non-Fiction category. The shortlists were chosen by a jury panel consisting of Katharine Fry, Meera Ghanshamdas, Mog Harris, Joe Hedinger, James Routledge, and Amy Vale.
