Defying Doomsday Award

Twelfth Planet Press is seeking nominations for the 2016 Defying Doomsday Award, “recognising work in disability advocacy in SFF literature.” The award is made possible through D Franklin, who pledged the top amount in the Defying Doomsday anthology fundraising campaign.

The award will give one winner per year a cash prize of $200. Tsana Dolichva, Holly Kench, and Alisa Krasnostein comprise the jury.

Nominations are open until July 31, 2017, and can be submitted through an online form. The winner will be announced in September.
