Pournelle Wins NSS Heinlein Award
Jerry Pournelle won the National Space Society’s (NSS) Robert A. Heinlein Award. The award recognizes Pournelle’s “many years of support for space science, exploration, development and settlement and his close association with Robert Heinlein.”
The NSS Heinlein Award is a lifetime achievement award, presented once every two years and voted on by the NSS membership.
Pournelle will be honored at a ceremony during the International Space Development Conference (ISDC), held at the Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel and Casino in San Juan Puerto Rico, May 18-22, 2016.
