- The Country of Ice Cream Star, Sandra Newman (Chatto & Windus)
- The Bees, Laline Paull (Fourth Estate)
- The Table of Less Valued Knights, Marie Phillips (Jonathan Cape)
The Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction “celebrates excellence, originality and accessibility in women’s writing from throughout the world.” The winner will receive £30,000 and a bronze “Bessie” trophy.
