Weekly Bestsellers, 25 August
We’ll mention that Haruki Murakami’s latest novel, Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage, is #1 on a couple lists this week, but it doesn’t seem to have any fantastic element, and so it won’t be tracked here or posted on any of our Monitor pages. Also, David Mitchell’s next novel, The Bone Clocks, is bubbling with pre-publication sales on the various Amazon lists; we’ll list it once it’s published. For this week, the notable debut is Robin Hobb’s Fool’s Assassin (Del Rey), which ranks #13 on the New York Times fiction hardcover list, and debuts lower on two other lists.
