Almond Wins Elaneor Farjeon Award

David Almond won the Elanor Farjeon Award for “outstanding contribution to the world of children’s books,” given by the Children’s Book Circle. Almond is the author of many children’s novels, including his Carnegie Medal-winning debut Skellig (1998) and was called “an exceptionally worthy winner” of the Farjeon award by CBC co-chair Rachel Kellahar.
