WSFA Small Press Award Winner
The winner for the 2013 Washington Science Fiction Association Small Press Award for Short Fiction has been announced:

- “Bottled Spirits”, Pamela K. Kinney (Buzzy Mag 6/12)
- “The Bookmaking Habits of Select Species”, Ken Liu (Lightspeed 8/12)
- “Mornington Ride”, Jason Nahrung (Fablecroft)
- “Coca Xocolati”, Lawrence M. Schoen (ReDeus: Divine Tales)
- “The Six Million Dollar Mermaid”, Hildy Silverman (Mermaids 13: Tales from the Sea)
- “Astrophilia”, Carrie Vaughn (Clarkesworld 7/12)
The award, recognizing the “best original short fiction” published by small presses in the previous year, was presented at Capclave 13, October 11-13, 2013, in Gaithersburg MD. The winner was chosen by members of WSFA.
