The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman stayed in first place on the hardcover list, while Witch Wraith by Terry Brooks debuted at second. The new runner-up was Make Good Art by Neil Gaiman (Morrow) out of 46 titles nominated, the same as last month.
Kim Stanley Robinson’s 2312 moved up to first place on the paperback list, with George R.R. Martin’s A Clash of Kings staying in second. The runner-up was Fate of Worlds by Larry Niven & Edward M. Lerner (Tor) with 50 titles nominated, down from last month’s 53.
On the trade paperback list, World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War by Max Brooks took first place this month by a huge margin. There was no new runner-up, with 47 titles nominated, up from the 36 we saw last month.
Star Wars: Crucible by Troy Denning took top honors among the media-related titles this month, and there were no runner-ups. There were 19 titles nominated, down from last month’s 22.
World of Warcraft: Vol’jin: Shadows of the Horde by Michael A. Stackpole debuted at number one in the gaming-related titles, with no runner-ups. There were 16 titles nominated, up from the 13 we saw last month.
