Chiang Wins PEN/Malamud Award
The PEN/Faulkner Foundation has announced Ted Chiang as the winner of the 2024 PEN/Malamud Award for Excellence in the Short Story, which “recognizes writers who have demonstrated exceptional achievement in the short story form.”
Chiang will be honored at the annual PEN/Malamud Award Ceremony, held in partnership with American University, on December 1, 2024. For more, see the PEN/Faulkner Foundation website.
