2024 Lambda Literary Awards

The Lambda Literary Foundation has announced the winners for the 36th Annual Lambda Literary Awards (the “Lammys”), celebrating “the best lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender books.” Winners of genre interest include:

LGBTQ+ Speculative Fiction

  • WINNER: I Keep My Exoskeletons to Myself, Marisa Crane (Catapult)
  • The Archive Undying, Emma Mieko Candon (Tordotcom)
  • The Saint of Bright Doors, Vajra Chandrasekera (Tordotcom)
  • The Thick and the Lean, Chana Porter (Saga)
  • Bang Bang Bodhisattva, Aubrey Wood (Solaris)

Gay Fiction

  • WINNER: Family Meal, Bryan Washington (Riverhead)

Lesbian Fiction

  • WINNER: Biography of X, Catherine Lacey (Farrar, Straus, Giroux)
  • Organ Meats, K-Ming Chang (One World)
  • Our Hideous Progeny, C.E. McGill (HarperCollins)
